Bonus Epilogue

Two years later…

Penelope stroked the golden pendant with the name Gabriel hanging around her neck and gazed at Preston, who held the one-year-old Gabriel in question. Standing with her loving husband and their sweet son in her own art gallery, which she had named Danaë, was a dream come true. It was the only art gallery in Britain that exclusively featured female artists, and she couldn’t be more pleased.

The gallery was packed with people, despite the very hard opposition from the Royal Academy of Arts, who railed about how dangerous it was to encourage women to learn about or make any sort of living from art. They claimed such a thing would destroy tradition and the social order.
